Emulsified asphalt cold recycling field mixing technology

The emulsified asphalt plant mixing cold recycling technology is based on the milled and recycled materials of the original asphalt road surface. 1. Technical advantages

① The old asphalt mixture milled (including the base material when milled together with the base) can be fully recycled for environmental protection at normal temperature. No heating during the whole process, zero pollution and zero emissions. Reduce the cost of raw materials and reduce environmental pollution.

②Using emulsified asphalt as the organic renewable binder and cement or lime as the inorganic renewable binder, to form a composite organic hydraulic material to provide sufficient bearing capacity.

③ The use of emulsified asphalt improves the construction conditions and prolongs the construction season.

④Compared with on-site cold regeneration, the mix ratio control is more accurate, improves the smoothness of the pavement, and ensures road performance.

2. Technical requirements for raw materials

①Return the material

The milling material should be dry and the material composition is stable, and it must be crushed and sieved before use. According to the maximum nominal particle size of the regenerated mixture, the size of the sieve aperture should be selected reasonably; the quality requirements are as follows.

② Technical index of emulsified asphalt
Normally, slow-crack cationic emulsified asphalt should be used for cold mixing in factory. The initial setting time of cement should be above 3h, and the final setting time should be above 6h. Quick-hardening cement and early-strength cement should not be used. Cement should be loose, dry, free of agglomeration, agglomeration, and deteriorated by moisture. The cement strength grade can be 32.5 or 42.5. When used in the surface layer of Grade 3 and 4 highways, the slurry seal layer, gravel seal layer, micro surface area, etc. should be used as the surface wear layer.
